Near the end of 2019, I travelled to a small town North of Orlando, Florida to visit an internet friend who I wanted to meet in real life. His birthday was coming up, and he was promoting a stand up show at his local laundromat, and I just sort of showed up.
Now when I say local, this spot was part of a strip mall that was essentially across the street from his apartment, and he did in fact wheel the audio equipment as well as his weekly laundry the hundred yards of so to the venue, and not only put on a Hell of a fun show, but also did his laundry. A brilliant conceit, and perhaps the least effort into a pre-show prep time as I can imagine. Awesome.
I think I can speak for Chzuck when I say we could have listened to Big Tim tell stories for hours. He's a raconteur, and in my mind, the embodiment of a Southern Gentleman. We hope you enjoyed this conversation as much as we did, and that this is the first of many conversations we can have with him. A real treat.

We are easing into our 2020 schedule, and this week I'm excited to present a conversation we had with the voice of World of Unpredictable Wrestling, Manly Jack Manley! I've know Jack as an internet presence for a couple of years, but this is the first time I've been able to speak with him, and on the heels of their first event of the year New Years Resolution 2020, it seemed like there was no better time to jump in and hear what his path has been like to get to where he is in pro wrestling, and get some perspective on how his approach compares to some of our previous guests who, while not wrestlers, follow similar disciplines and patterns to climb whatever ladder their art places them on a this moment in time. He's a great talker, and I hope to speak with him again so we can all follow his journey. It's rare to find somebody who works as hard as he does and can communicate that work so well. Awesome.

We're settling in to the new format, bringing in a guest once every two weeks to talk about life through a One Fall Show! filter. A little bit silly, a whole lot of pro wrestling. My buddy Stacie Joy proved to be a perfect guest to keep us moving in the right direction. She was fun, insightful, and not only down to play our pro-wrestling related reindeer games, but was REALLY good at our new one, where we sent her a video and asked us to narrate the story without ever hearing the audio. Let's just say this wasn't the curtain call they were looking for.
Hopefully, some of you who have been listening for a while are enjoying the new tone to the show. It's taking some work to find the real sweet spot, but Chzuck and I are loving the conversations we're having, and are really appreciative to the folks who are willing to schedule their valuable time to do our weird "rasslin" show, and of course all of you who come back each episode to listen.
