12: Musician and visual artist Carmel Liburdi

For anyone who has been listening to ChZuck and myself for any length of time, it should be no surprise to hear me state bluntly that we're not afraid to experiment with the boundaries of the One Fall Show.  We'll try something new for a week or two, see how it feels in terms of the vibe of the show, and begin to integrate the thing if we dig it.  

We've been inviting people onto the show with some regularity over the last few months.  I've been digging it a lot, and I know Chzuck likes it too, although I think he'd rightly appreciate it if I RAMBLED a little less.  This week I got a little bolder than normal and brought on musician and visual artist Carmel Liburdi, someone who I admire as a friend and artist, because she's releasing her FIFTH full length record soon and I really wanted to catch up with her and pick her brain on process and focus and a little bit on life.  The episode may, in fact, be a little light on wrestling, but the conversation was so much fun to do that we want to see if you can relate to any of this artistic jive as it applies the art of Pro Wrestling, or practices of any kind in your own life.  

Apologies if my indulgence here isn't what you were hoping for.  As I said, we'll push the boundaries a bit and see how it feels. We'll always keep coming back to the core of good ol' professional rasslin and less honorable carnie magic than Carmel Liburdi brings to the seance, but between you and me, if you don't vibe with Carmel Liburdi, there may be something wrong with YOU.
